Claire Manning, based on 10 years consulting, has developed strategies to make learning and development in the workplace more accessible to all people regardless of their learning habits. She has worked with both private and public sector organisations and her special interest is to understand which aspects of the arts can enhance outcomes in work-related learning situations.

Claire's consulting work was built on her work and experience in the corporate and arts sectors. Claire was the Training Coordinator for 6 years in the early 1990s with McKinsey and Company, Australia, an international management consulting firm. Claire's arts education experience was developed during her time in the late 1990s as Centre Manager for The Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre, Bundanon, NSW south of Sydney, Australia . 

Claire Manning has a Doctorate of Education where she investigated the use of the arts for work-related learning. Claire's research and experience has confirmed that diverse, engaging and challenging learning will ensure adults are motivated to make learning and development a continuing priority in all aspects of their lives.

Claire’s love of learning is reflected in her qualifications gained after returning to school as a mature aged student – Bachelor of Arts (Education & English) Macquarie University; Masters of Adult Education and Doctorate of Education both at University of Wollongong, Australia.
